General Hospital Spoilers – Jagger Returns, But It’s Not What You Think

According to the General Hospital spoilers, Jagger made his big return to Port Charles.

However, the legacy character wasn’t portrayed by Antonio Sabato Jr. Canadian American actor Adam J. Harrington recast the role of Jagger.

GH fans took to X to share their thoughts. Most of them demanded the execs to bring back Antonio Sabato Jr.

“Zero resemblance to the Jagger we all know and love. Where’s Antonio Sabato Jr?” one fan asked.

“Replacing brown hair, brown-eyed Jagger with blue-eyed and blonde. Hmmmm,” another user noted.

“Why is this YT blonde playing Jagger??? Ummm. Antonio Sabato Jr. Also wasn’t Stone a Latino as well?” a third fan asked.

However, some fans are loving the recast. They think Adam perfectly portrays the iconic character. One fan wrote: “I love this John Jagger Cates so much more than that loser. This guy is cute and a great actor.” Some are getting past the looks and loving the older vibe of the character.

GH Spoilers – Antonio Sabato Jr. Speaks Out

The General Hospital spoilers suggest that fans are confused by this recast. Antonio Sabato Jr. spoke out about his recast.

He claims that he got “canceled” by Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Antonio has been outspoken about his conservative beliefs.

“I get thousands of emails asking if I am coming back to General Hospital,” he shared in a statement via The U.S. Sun. “But if the producers never called me. It’s a personal vendetta.”

Antonio Sabato Jr. publicly supported Donald Trump during the 2016 U.S. Election. He admitted that he doesn’t regret sharing his political beliefs.

However, he feels that it stalled his acting career. Antonio left Los Angeles for Florida and recovered from a sleeping pill addiction.

“I don’t have freedom anymore,” Antonio declared. “You should be able to talk about anything you want to talk about and be free to be yourself because, at the end of the day, you’re hiring me for my craft. You’re hiring me to play this role as best as I can for the fans.”
