Adam Huss Speaks Out On His General Hospital Status

A whole contingent of General Hospital viewers has been chomping at the bit for Adam Huss’ return. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the busy actor, or his alter-ego, is coming back anytime soon — but not for a lack of wanting on Huss’ part.

Adam Huss Updates Fans

Huss took to X (formerly Twitter) with a post that reads, “Hey kind people! Thank you for all the shout-outs asking when or if I may return to #GH. I of course would love to be there. We shall see. Much love and thanks for following me and my other projects!”

Oh, boy does Huss have a slate of upcoming projects! In another video, filmed on the set of a “romantic drama,” Huss informed that he was, “Jumping into another [film project] on Tuesday, finishing up Pieces of Lilo — we got four days on that, and then I’m heading to New York to do a horror thriller…I play a really fucked-up bad guy.”

Huss first appeared as Nikolas Cassadine on September 29, 2021, when then-incumbent Marcus Coloma proved unavailable. After a few more fill-ins, Huss assumed the part and played Nikolas on and off until early February 2024. At that time, the character, a wanted fugitive, surrendered himself to authorities.

Soon after, Huss posted on X, Every. Single. Kind. Comment. Has made my day. These scenes were so important for me to get right! Loved every minute of filming them. Sending MAJOR love out to you all for taking the time to show your love and appreciation towards me and my portrayal of #Nikolas #cassadine.”
